Introduction #
The ‘Review’ tab is provided for the user to:
View progress during the plan period
Record their views on the plan outcomes once the plan finish date has been reached.

The Review tab consists of six main sections:
- End of plan assessment input: This value can be set when the plan finish date has been reached, where the user can choose from one of the five options to reflect how well the plan was executed.
- Your thoughts input: A journal entry available for the user to post reflections on events during the plan period and an assessment of plan outcomes.
- Story point burn down chart: This shows the actual progress of the plan against the original start of plan profile. If the green progress line is on or below the blue area then the plan is on track or ahead of schedule. If the green line is above and outside of the blue area then the plan is behind schedule.
- Plan score chart: This shows the plan progress score in terms of period score and story points completed
- Story points by task outcome chart: This pie chart summarises the current status of plan tasks by the task state.
- Active goals progress chart: This summarises the story points completed for each active goal.
Reviewing progress during the plan period #
During a plan’s active period, the user may use the ‘Review’ tab display to view plan progress. Points to review include:
- Viewing the burn down chart to see whether the plan progress is on track.. If the green progress line is above the blue target line, then the plan is behind schedule.
- View the Plan score chart to see whether MIT is being addressed as a priority. A good plan should have the high priority tasks set as the initial assignments. Hence, the MIT score should always be higher than the ‘Other’ tasks score.
Reviewing outcomes on or after the plan finish date #
When a plan has finished – i.e. when the current date is on or after the plan finish date – then the user may employ the ‘Review’ tab to record their assessment of the plan execution
For an end of plan assessment the user should:
- End of plan assessment input: The user should choose from one of the five options to reflect how well the plan was executed.
- Your thoughts input: The user should record a journal entry that reflects on events during the plan period and an assessment of plan outcomes.
When both of these inputs are complete, the user should click on the ‘Save’ button to save the inputs and close the plan instance.
