The ‘Filter’ tab in the User settings form is employed to configure filter relate features.
The configuration options include:
- Retain open only filter in place: If this is set to On, then the task filtering feature will always keep the ‘task open = true’ filter in place. This provides a mechanism to ensure that the user is only ever by default viewing open tasks.
- Apply active filters to new task: If this is set to On, then whenever a new task is created then the attribute value active as filters will be automatically set to the same values in the new task. For example, if the current task view has a filter on folder ‘Vacations’, then when the user creates a new task then it will start with the folder value of the new task set to ‘Vacations’.
