Clicking on the toolbar configuration button will open the popup configuration form

The form includes a number of controls for managing display aspects of the Today page, including:

  • Show habits: Slide to selected if the habits panel is to be shown as part of the Today page.
  • Content display: By default the Today page uses a single column ‘list’ to show tasks for a given date. The content display setting offers different content display options for showing tasks grouped by time of day
  • Hide completed: If selected, then the display will not show completed tasks.
  • Sort by: used to determine the sorting criteria that is applied to tasks in each date column.
  • Show sidebar; If switched on, then the action panel will be displayed.
  • Include overdue: if switched on, then any tasks with a scheduled date before today will be included in the today column.
  • Show story point total: if switched on, then the total story points of all tasks in a particular column will be displayed in the column title.
  • Today title date format: the date format applied to column titles.
  • Today task card width: the width of columns displayed in the ‘Today’ view.
  • Tomorrow task card width: the width of columns displayed in the ‘Tomorrow’ view.
  • Week ahead task card width: the width of columns displayed in the ‘Week ahead’ view.
  • Habit section height percentage: the proportion of vertical space reserved to display habit cards
  • Week ahead days: the number of days beyond today that will be included in the Week Ahead view.
  • Task card trailing attribute: the task attribute value that will be displayed on the right edge of each tasks card.
  • Task card sub title display attributes: a list of one or more task attributes that will be displayed in the sub title area of each tasks card.

After the user has changed the required display attributes, clicking on the ‘Save’ button will close the popup form and refresh the Today page to display itself using the just revised configuration settings.

Alternatively, clicking on the ‘Save as default’ button will save these settings for the current view and all future instances of the Today view.
