Tasks – Kanban view

< 1 min read

The Kanban view provides a columnar view of tasks grouped by task state. By default the view displays four state related columns of ‘TO do’, ‘on hold’, ‘In progress’ and ‘Completed’.

This view is helpful when employed with either a custom saved view or custom saved filter to display the overall progress in completing a pre-determined set of tasks.

User actions available from this view include:

  • Drag a task between Kanban columns to update its state
  • Add a new task
  • Bulk add many tasks
  • Swipe a task to update its state
  • Swipe a task to delete it
  • Click on a task to change it
  • Click on a task entry icon to update one of its key attributes
  • Use the quick filters to focus on a smaller set of tasks
  • Use the filter toolbar to add specific filter fields
  • Load and save custom filters
  • Load and save custom views
  • Configure the Kanban view to change its display
