The horizon view display can be altered by changing its configuration.

Clicking on the toolbar configuration cogwheel button will open the configuration form.

The form includes the following display setting options:
- Display as columns: (not currently used).
- Sort by: Used to sort the tasks in the display
- Show story point total: if switched on, then the horizon column titles will include a total of the story points for all tasks included in that column.
- Overdue in current: If switched on then any overdue tasks will be included in the first time horizon column.
- Show dates: if switched on, then the time horizon column titles will change to display specific dates.
- Show sidebar: to show r hide the action sidebar
- Horizon basis: use this to choose the time horizon basis: weekly, monthly, or custom.
- Period column count: when the horizon basis is either weekly or monthly, then this value is used to control the number of weeks or month columns that will be displayed.
- Custom horizons: when the custom horizon basis is selected, then this input control is used to select one or time horizons form a pre-defined list of different time periods. Click on the folder icon to open the selection list.
- Include not scheduled: if switched on, then the display will include an extra column on the left to show all tasks that are not scheduled.
- Include other scheduled: if switched on, the display will include an extra column on the right to show all tasks that are scheduled but do not fit into the selected time horizons.
- Task card width: used to optimise the display of columns in the available screen space.
- Task tile display – trailing attribute: select the task attribute that will be shown in the right most location in each task entry card.
- Task tile display – subtitle attributes: select the attributes that will be displayed in the task entry card subtitle area. A task attribute will only be displayed if it has data.
After changing the required settings, when the user clicks on the ‘Save’ button the Horizon view will be rebuilt to display the new configuration.
Alternatively, clicking on the ‘Save as default’ button will save these settings as the current view and all future instances of the Horizons view.
