The Day view display can be amended by changing its configuration.
To change the Day view display, click on the cog wheel button in the toolbar area.
Clicking on this toolbar button will open the configuration form.
This configuration form allows the user the option of changing how the day view appears and what data is displayed for each task, including:
- Content display: for the day and week views, there is an option to display the day task list in one of four modes, where ‘List’ is the default. This option is only relevant if tasks are being assigned a starting scheduled time.
- Sort order. Choosing the field that will be used to sort the task list
- `Include overdue in current day:` is switched on, then all overdue tasks will be included in the current date list
- Date title format: the format applied to the date in the navigator display
- Calendar width: the display width of the day task area
- Show sidebar: if switched off, then the side bar will be hidden
- Task card width: will optimise the card width to take advantage of the available screen space.
- Task tile trailing attribute: the task attribute to be displayed on the right edge of the task entry card
- Sub-title display attributes: one or more selected task attributes that will be displayed in the task card subtitle area. An attribute will only be displayed if it has data.
After making the required changes, when the user clicks on the ‘Save’ button, the view display will be updated to reflect the new configuration.
Alternatively, clicking on the ‘Save as default’ button will save the settings as the new defaults for this and all future instances of the Day view.
