{"id":2052,"date":"2025-03-23T11:24:26","date_gmt":"2025-03-23T11:24:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/essays-in-software.com\/good-day\/?post_type=docs&#038;p=2052"},"modified":"2025-03-23T11:27:43","modified_gmt":"2025-03-23T11:27:43","password":"","slug":"journal-mobile","status":"publish","type":"docs","link":"https:\/\/essays-in-software.com\/good-day\/docs\/mobile-good-day\/journal-mobile\/","title":{"rendered":"Journal"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A journal entry is a narrative note created by a user to capture their thoughts and considerations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A journal entry can be of any length and can be created:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>At any time by a user independent of other actions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As part of the planning process, where a user may record their thoughts at the start and end of each planning cycle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The journal feature recognises three types of journal entry:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Simple Journal entry &#8211; a narrative note <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What went well entry &#8211; a note used to record the experiences and details of an episode that was successful and went well <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lessons learnt entry &#8211;  a note used to record the experiences and details from a situation where lessons may be learnt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The different journal entry types are provided as a way of quickly finding information of each type. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Journal Page<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"473\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/essays-in-software.com\/good-day\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/image-47-473x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2053\" srcset=\"https:\/\/essays-in-software.com\/good-day\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/image-47-473x1024.png 473w, https:\/\/essays-in-software.com\/good-day\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/image-47-138x300.png 138w, https:\/\/essays-in-software.com\/good-day\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/image-47-768x1664.png 768w, https:\/\/essays-in-software.com\/good-day\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/image-47-709x1536.png 709w, https:\/\/essays-in-software.com\/good-day\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/image-47-945x2048.png 945w, https:\/\/essays-in-software.com\/good-day\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/image-47-236x512.png 236w, https:\/\/essays-in-software.com\/good-day\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/image-47.png 1080w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 473px) 100vw, 473px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the journal page the user may:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select a content filter entry to filter the journal entry by type<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the &#8216;+&#8217; button to add a new entry of a specified type<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A new journal entry is not automatically saved.  The user must click on the disk icon save button to save the journal entry.,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each journal entry has its own text input panel.
