To resize the columns, move the mouse cursor to a position near the top right corner of the column title cell. Separate column widths are retained for each of the Today,  Tomorrow; and Week ahead views. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scrolling to see columns off page to the right<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where a view has more columns than can be displayed on the screen, then the user may scroll horizontally by holding down the SHIFT button whilst rolling the mouse scroller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Toolbar options<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Today page toolbar panel includes a number of toolbar facilities<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">View toolbar<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"378\" height=\"51\" src=\"https:\/\/essays-in-software.com\/good-day\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-193.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1689\" srcset=\"https:\/\/essays-in-software.com\/good-day\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-193.png 378w, https:\/\/essays-in-software.com\/good-day\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-193-300x40.png 300w, https:\/\/essays-in-software.com\/good-day\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-193-360x49.png 360w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 378px) 100vw, 378px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The view toolbar offers the user three ways of viewing tasks scheduled for today and future dates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Today &#8211; shows just the tasks scheduled for the current date<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tomorrow &#8211; shows the tasks scheduled for today and tomorrow<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Week ahead &#8211; shows tasks scheduled for the week ahead<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Display content toolbar<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"180\" height=\"57\" src=\"https:\/\/essays-in-software.com\/good-day\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-194.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1690\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The content toolbar allows you to change how tasks are organized within the columnar display. To start the selection process, click the &#8216;Start select&#8217; button. Click on any of the &#8216;Goal, &#8216;Folders&#8217;, &#8216;Category&#8217;, &#8216;Tag&#8217; and &#8216;Plan&#8217; buttons to add a new list filter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Task level actions available from the Today Page<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Today page allows the user to update the status of tasks in the display via:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Swipe a task card to set it as complete (by default swipe right)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Swipe a task card to delete it (by default swipe left)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the task card left side icon to open up the quick status popup form that allows the user to change the task state, task priority or task scheduled data<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click within the task card to edit\/change the task details<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drag the task card to another column to change its scheduled date.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Habit level actions available from the Today page<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If there are active habits then these will be displayed as part of the Today page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"357\" height=\"230\" src=\"https:\/\/essays-in-software.com\/good-day\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-199.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1699\" srcset=\"https:\/\/essays-in-software.com\/good-day\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-199.png 357w, https:\/\/essays-in-software.com\/good-day\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-199-300x193.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 357px) 100vw, 357px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each active habit is displayed with its current status.
